Fold offers a small number of shared studio desks for creatives looking for a flexible place to work for the day, the week or longer. Located upstairs on Rangiora’s High Street, the studios sit alongside our gallery and are part of an active, supportive creative environment.

Studios 1–3: Resident Artists
These are the homes of our permanent Fold artists. Each studio is shaped by the daily rhythms of its resident. Mel (and Tim), Laura, and Julie anchor our community here, bringing depth, dialogue, and a sense of continuity to the space.

Our shared desks sit within the gallery space itself. Work surrounded by natural light, artwork, and the quiet rhythm of others.
This is for creatives who want consistency without isolation. Designers, artists, writers, illustrators, photographers, small creative businesses. If you need space to think and make, you’ll fit right in.

Some entries may appear as busy
If a date shows as busy, then a studio or desk is in use. Note on any given day we have a capacity of 5 casual residents.

Fold is a shared studio built around respect, curiosity, and creative practice. All care is taken to look after the space, and we ask that studio users are mindful of the environment and those working alongside them.
